Active Listening: Pursuing a Sacred Way of Being

Some interesting discussions with dance students and friends this past summer have brought the topic of developing musicality to the forefront of my mind lately. Especially the concept of active listening.
Earlier this year, Tango Pilgrim quoted a Facebook post by Argentine tango instructor Sebastian Arce lamenting the lack of informed music choices being made by tango DJs in Europe (read the entire post here). I think his arguments need further elaboration and a little balance, but he makes some excellent points:
